Delete your Woofy account

You can request deletion of your Woofy account and associated personal data at any time, whether you signed in with Google or as a guest. Submit the request below using the email address linked to your account and our team will process it.

How it works

Enter your login email

Use the exact email address shown on your Google account, or the email used for support, that you sign in to Woofy with.

Send the request

Submitting opens an email to our support inbox, pre-filled with your account details and request.

We confirm and delete

We verify the request against the account and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.

Data that gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, avatar, date of birth, gender, and phone number
  • Your login link (Google or guest sign-in)
  • Push notification token and in-app notifications
  • Your discussion posts, comments, and likes

Data we may retain

  • Reported rescue cases and case photos, retained/anonymized for animal welfare record-keeping
  • Chat messages tied to a rescue case, kept for safety and dispute-handling purposes
  • Marketplace orders and payment proof, kept for accounting and legal requirements
  • Records required to be kept by law, or needed to resolve an open dispute or investigation

Retained records are anonymized where possible and kept only as long as needed for animal welfare record-keeping, order/legal history, or fraud prevention.
